Changing it Up

Have you ever headed out for the day to run errands or to see someone and once you are on the road, you suddenly decide to go somewhere else?  I do that often…YES I know you’re not shocked. I will sometimes even head in a direction not sure where I’m going, enjoying the momentary loss of a plan.

That happened to me a year and a half ago, but it turned out to be a huge drive. I was returning home from the Atlanta airport intending on resolving a storyline in my Protector Series, when this redhead appeared on the passenger side. She began talking and would not shut up.  Her story was so interesting that I kept driving, I drove up to the Georgia mountains, across the state and then finally back down towards home.  The normally two-hour drive turned into six and a great story. Upon arriving home, I sat down and plotted it immediately.  I retold my husband the story and he demanded I write it.

And that is how “Where The Four Winds Collide” came to be.  A huge change in direction from Paranormal Romance to Historical Western Romance.  I love this story and hope that you will enjoy it as much as I did when Adeline told it.
