Amazing facts about me!
♥ I speak Spanish fluently.
♥ Never ever, ever have or will sky-dive. Well unless the plane I’m in is skydiving then I’ll jump out of it, hopefully with a parachute.
♥ I don’t like grapes. Not sure why, they are slimy inside and then have seeds that taste really crappy.
♥ My favorite show is Chopped on the Food Network. Funny since I don’t like to cook. I try to cook, but it always comes out gross.
♥ One of my favorite memories is when my two daughters and I went for a drive and ended up 300 miles away at the beach in St. Augustine. We spent the entire day on the beach and night in a cheap motel.
♥ When I was thirty, I had a one night stand with a professional football player, just because he was a professional foot ball player. No I won’t share his name, and yes he was hot! He was in Hawaii for the Probowl.
♥ I can go all day without eating as long as I don’t eat before noon. If I eat before noon, I’m hungry all day.
♥ Total strangers have no problem sharing sometimes very private details of their lives, once a guy talked about his pubic hair wondering if it was too long, another told me he feared he was impotent, an elderly lady in Sams complained how hard it was to put her underwear on that morning since she hurt her thumb, at this point my husband walked away. I find it incredibly interesting!
♥ My worst habit is shopping for purses, I love them, obsessed with them. It’s the first thing I notice about most women.
♥ Fifteen years ago, I was a translator for a Columbian woman in the witness protection program, after that decided I could never work for the FBI. Criminals are crazy as hell!
♥ Come back on occasion I will change these up, there are still many more things I can share!
My Bio:
Hildie McQueen loves the strange and unusual, pair that with humor and you’ve got an idea of what her writing is like.
She makes sure action, intrigue, and sizzling romance add up to an escape that her readers won’t soon forget. Hildie is a member of Georgia Romance Writers and Romance Writers of America. She resides in the beautiful small town Georgia with her super-hero husband Kurt.
She lives in a small town in Georgia, where everybody knows everybody. It’s the kind of place where you get a “Hey Hildie” from across the street while walking into a favorite shop. The girl behind the counter asks about my books and the next customer in ends up introducing themselves if you haven’t met them yet. I love it! After growing up in the huge city of San Diego and living all over the world as a soldier and later government contractor, it’s nice to live in a place like this.
