Delphina’s
Five Favorite Things: I am so excited to be a guest on Hildie’s blog. I have never been a guest before. I am kind of nervous about it, to be honest. I am a blogger and not a writer. My blog is Delphina Reads Too Much and the name pretty much says it all. I started it on a whim to keep my book reviews organized and it has turned into so much more than that. I do not know how I got so lucky. I have the most amazing guests and get to read the most amazing books. I put up a picture of my kiddos today instead of one of me, because this picture melts my heart. Look how happy they all are. Ok, babbly momma gushing over. Here are my Five Favorite Things:
Favorite
Beverage: Coffee. I love coffee. Not the fancy stuff, just plain old coffee with extra milk only. You have to say the only part or they will always toss in sugar. We moved to the Midwest five years ago and in our town, most places do not have milk for their coffee. Talk about culture shock. Tim Horton’s to the rescue! They are my go to place for coffee with milk.
Room in Your House: I do not really have a favorite room in my house. Strange, I know. I love them all for different reasons. I love my kid’s rooms because they are where my sweet babies sleep and I love to go in and see them so peacefully sleeping. I love my living room, where I can snuggle on the couch and read. I love the dining room, where we all gather together to enjoy each other’s company and eat or do crafts. I love the bathroom, because there are somedays when it is the only place I get a second to myself. So, yeah, I am wishy washy about the whole “favorite” concept. Now, if this room were in my house, it would win. Of course, the two unseen walls would also be filled with book and the furniture would be way more comfy, but you get the idea

Place in Town where you live: Mijo’s for certain sure! It is by far our favorite place to go out to eat. They make amazing breakfast and are wonderful people. They also has the “where everybody knows your name feel”. Not only do the owners and staff know our names, but it is rare that we are ever there without another customer who stopping by to talk to us. It is an amazing place. If you are ever near Lansing, MI, check it out.

Book: I firmly believe this is an impossible question. Who can pick one favorite book? I love so many authors and books. Here are a list of some of my favorite authors. Yes, the list is long: Madeline L’engle, Quinn Loftis, Addison Moore, Nicole Williams, Leia Shaw, Kendall Grey, Hildie McQueen (and no I am not just saying that
